Sony Boast for the First XQD Memory Cards

With the announcement of Nikon's new D-SLR D4 which supports Fast XQD cards, Sony is the first to fully introduced XQD in the market.

Of course you have to pay the price if you want speed. The 16GB card costs the whooping $129.99, while the 32GB version goes for $229.99. Sony thinks the cards will be good for up 100 frames in RAW format in continuous shooting mode, based on its tests. There'll also be a card reader and adapter for easy portability, both setting you back a further $45 when the whole lot hits the shelves in February.
