iOS 4.1 Jailbreak almost there!

Mere hours after iOS 4.1 became available, an iPhone Dev-Team user Pod2g found a bootrom exploit, meaning that the new update is indeed jailbreakable. However, this one differs—and could cause Apple a lot of pain.

Due to the way the jailbreak accesses the OS, the only way Apple can fix it is reportedly by installing a "whole new processor rev," according to someone from inside the project who spoke to Boy Genius Report.

As to when you can jailbreak it, well the Dev-Team guys are still working on it, but have said that people would be better off ignoring the 4.1 update for now.

Here is a simple trick that will allow you to take screen shot of you screen in iPod Touch and iPhone.

Press and hold the home key, while doing so press the wake button (your screen will flash, a notification that you have succefully took a screen shot). Screen shot will be automatically saved to your photo album and can be later transfer to your computer.

"Now, your other question was about I'm getting old. Zune, so Zune has been critically successful. And the way Zune is going to be successful for us in the future is you should think of that as our media service across multiple screens. We'll continue to have the Zune device screen. But, we now have Zune on Xbox. We have Zune on the PC. There are other places where Zune logically could go that we don't get to talk about yet. And I think lots of different screens with that capability can go."

The question now is whether Zune will come to Windows Mobile or live as its own brand remains to be seen.

WiDi HD Wireless Technology by Intel

Finally it is official, Intel lunched its WiDi technology. This will allow you to connect your laptop to your HDTV wirelessly via WiFi, stream HD video and audio all you want. You will need a i3 or i5 powered laptop to do that plus the adapter box which will cost you around $100.

Windows 7 God Mode?

Here is a simple Trick for Windows 7 which will unlock Windows 7 hidden "God Mode" Control Panel.
This will provide a single place to access all Windows settings without needing to browse options and folders in the Control Panel.

Step 1. Create a New Folder (In any directory)

Step 2. Rename the folder to GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} Note: you can change the “GodMode” text, but the following period and code number are essential.

Your Folder would look like this. Similar icon to Control Panel — double click it to show the GodMode window 

The window shows 280 plus sections with quick links to configuration options. Strictly speaking, it’s not a God Mode since all the options are available elsewhere. It’s more akin to an “all tasks” list — but you may find it easier than stumbling through Windows numerous screens and panels.

SSS Online Inquiry Registration Guide

Here is a step by step guide on how to register to your SSS Online to see your member's contribution and membership records. 

1. Go to the official SSS website: http://www.sss.gov.ph

2. At the upper part of the page, mouse over to My.SSS then click Register. see the picture for your reference.

3. This would open a new page, Select what type of user (member) you are. This guide is for member so select member then click the submit button.

4. Fill up all required field and make sure you enter a valid email address because your username and password will be sent there. Wait for about a week or more until you receive an email notification that you are registered. 

5. Now remember your username and password, SSS always requires you to change password every 90 days. Go back to http://www.sss.gov.ph then follow step 2 and instead of Register, click Log-in, or simple click this https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/login.jsp 


6. Enter your username and password, you can now view your membership information!

Corby 3653 is equipped with a 2 mega-pixel camera with smile detector. Badly is doesn't have an autofocus. Video recording is QVGA @ 15fps. Connectivity lacks 3g and wifi, but with bluetooth A2DP support.This phone can support up to 8GB of micro SD card according to the box but haven't tried it.

In the end you'll get what you paid for, a Php 7,000 touch screen with all the basic features of a mobile phone without something unique. Overall this is a great buy with a 2mp camera, touch screen, mp3 and neat interface.
